DONATE YOUR
ECLIPSE GLASSES
Certified eclipse glasses in good condition can protect someone else’s eyes during the partial phases on 2 August 2027. If you have glasses you no longer need, offer them here and the team will contact you about handing them over.
What we can accept
- Glasses marked ISO 12312-2, the international standard for looking directly at the Sun.
- Filters with no scratches, holes, creases or loose parts. Damaged glasses are not safe and cannot be passed on.
The team checks every pair before it is handed on. Where donated glasses go: [TO BE CONFIRMED]
How it works
- You tell us how many pairs you have and where you are.
- The team contacts you to arrange drop-off, collection or post. Drop-off points: [TO BE CONFIRMED]
- The glasses are checked, then given to people who will watch the eclipse.
